To provide financial assistance to U.S. military veterans facing legal challenges, ensuring they receive fair representation and due process. By alleviating the burden of legal fees and court costs, we empower veterans to defend their rights, rebuild their lives, and continue their mission beyond service.
• Veterans are disproportionately represented in the justice system. Struggles with PTSD, substance abuse, homelessness, and job instability often lead to legal trouble.
• Many veterans live paycheck to paycheck. A costly legal issue can threaten their housing, employment, or even their freedom.
• Access to fair legal representation shouldn’t depend on your bank account.
But for too many veterans, it does.
Applications will be reviewed for basic eligibility criteria, ensuring applicants:
• Are U.S. military veterans (honorably or generally discharged)
• Demonstrate financial need
• Face legal challenges in one of the fund’s covered areas (e.g., criminal defense, family law, disability claims, housing issues)
• Have a case with merit (i.e., no frivolous lawsuits or unethical legal actions)
